Richmond Hill Encourages the Community to Shift Gears

On Saturday, September 24 at the Crosby Park Family Fair, the Town officially launched its Shift Gears initiative with the release of the new Richmond Hill Cycling Map. Mayor Barrow and Members of Council, along with cyclists from the Evolution Cycling Club, kicked off the event arriving to the stage by bike. Mayor Barrow encouraged fair-goers to pick up their copy of the new cycling map to take advantage of more than 160 kms of new bike routes in Richmond Hill and reap the many rewards of active transportation. Fair-goers also had the chance to visit the Shift Gears booth for free giveaways and the chance to win one of two bikes.
